Workshops Bookings
It is advisable to book your workshop about 2 weeks in advance to secure your spot or my availability. However, I understand that you are busy and that you may want to book a workshop at a shorter notice. Please drop me an email if you are short in time as I might still be able to fit you in as a last-minute booking.
Payment
All workshops are to be booked and paid in advance.
Once the date and time are confirmed an email with a credit card payment link will be sent to you.
If you have a Dutch bank account, you can pay via Internet banking or Tikkie app. Please indicate on your booking form.
The system I use for credit card payments uses https, which stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, which is the secure version of HTTP – the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to.
The ‘S’ at the end of https stands for ‘Secure’. This means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.
This means that your financial details are totally secure.
Once the payment is made the system will immediately send me a notice and I’ll email you a confirmation and meeting point address/further information.

All bookings are fully transferable to another nominated party prior to the date of the workshop and only for the date of the booked workshop. All variations must be communicated in advance and in writing.
Safety
All workshops are held in public locations, roads, bicycle lanes, footpaths and interior and exterior of buildings.
While I will continuously endeavour to keep clients safe, clients agree to undertake any event at their own risk to themselves and their equipment.
Don’t Forget
Full charged camera battery and if you have a spare one, make sure that it’s full too and bring it along, (more important for the evening tour).
Make sure that you have plenty of space on your memory card/s.
Tripod Hire
For the evening tour, we will use a tripod, if you plan not to bring your own tripod, I have tripods available to hire for €9.- each for the night. The tripod will be hired to you in good working condition. If clients break or lose my tripod or any parts of it, you agree to be liable pay an additional €90.-, to cover the repair/purchase of a new tripod.
Additional Fees
I am liable for the costs of my own transport to the workshop. However, if you choose to use any paid activity or services during the workshop (for example, if you purchase food and drink or take the tram or a taxi to the next location…) you are responsible to pay for your own use of any such activity or service. If I cannot continue the tour without making a similar payment, you are also responsible to pay on my behalf.
Weather
Over the last couple of years, I’ve discovered that if there is the slightest chance of rain according to the weather forecast, clients are deterred from coming on the workshop though rarely we experience heavy rain for long. It usually lasts 10 minutes, then stops or it drizzles… The weather in Amsterdam changes regularly so gray sky in the morning doesn’t always mean heavy rain later. And the weather report, especially the 5-day forecast, is wrong more often than not. There is no point in waiting for a workshop that will be scheduled on a day with a best weather forecast the weather is perfect and that there is a workshop is scheduled... because that will be the day you are at work!
